Stress. It’s just part of life, right?

The mainstream would have us believe that. It’s been so normalized that to think about living life in any other way seems silly.

We are taught that if we aren’t stressed then we aren’t successful or productive.

This cycle of chronic low level stress is the cause of so much hardship in our lives. There are many ways that this can play out.

Here are 3 ways:

1) Emotionally

When you’re dealing with a constant low level stress level, your emotions and mental health take a hit. They don’t have a chance to regulate and are getting thrown off on a regular basis, which means that they may have a harder time coming back to balance.

2) Physically

The rollercoaster action of your emotions and the high level of cortisol flowing through your veins means that your body doesn’t put priority on other functions in your body, like digestion.

3) Financially

All of the above compiled together translates to a harsh financial reality when it goes unacknowledged and unmanaged.

Now, I’d like to cast a vision for an alternative to a stressed out life. What if, we adopted another approach to living our lives?

What if we chose relaxed calm over stress?

What if rather than hurrying, we slowed down and took our time? How would that change your life?

I’m going to go out on a limb and say that if we adopted that approach, we would actually find ourselves to be more productive, more focussed and more joyful. 


We would see so many benefits that it may even surprise us. Our bodies would move from a sick state to a healing state. We would live lives of a higher quality that we haven’t yet experienced.
